    • Leaving a company healthcare scheme?

If you’re leaving your company healthcare scheme, it’s easy to continue your healthcare cover with us on a personal plan.

      Our personal plans offer:

      • Access to medical care and treatment worldwide
      • Access to a global hospital network
      • Ability to tailor your cover to suit your needs and budget
      • Emergency medical evacuation and repatriation

Why it’s important to avoid changes to the way your current medical history is covered

If you take out healthcare cover as a new member, your existing medical conditions are likely to be taken into account and may be excluded from your plan. However, if you’ve been covered by AXA PPP International on a scheme provided by your employer, you can continue your cover on a personal plan with no changes to the way that we cover your medical history.

This means if you have previously been covered for a certain condition and have made a claim, we’ll still cover you for ongoing treatment for that condition, subject to the terms and conditions of your new plan.

We can only offer this for a short period of time after you leave your company scheme, it’s always best to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Our Individual policies differ to our corporate plans; we can help choose a plan that works for you and your budget. It’s important that you read the terms and conditions of your new plan as they will differ from your corporate plan.
